These two styles—one relaxing and deeply rejuvenating, the other dynamic and fluid—balance feminine and masculine and lunar and solar energy, while exploring atillness and movement. Practiced alternately or together, they will help you attain that most elusive of goals: balance—in your body and your life.
Yin Practice A series of deeply restorative asanas and yin postures inspired by Taoist Yoga are held for several minutes each. This meditative practice stimulates energy channels, opens the joints, and massages connective tissue, enhancing the body’s natural healing process. Modifications are offered for different levels of practice. Approx. 60 min.
Yang Practice A continually flowing sequence of poses that build energy, flexibility, and strength. Includes a warming orientation sequence. This section can be set to replay for a longer practice. Approx. 30 min.
