Yoga has been a constant part of her life for the last 14 years. She has been actively practising in the UK and Italy and has been exposed to Bhakty, Kriya, and Hatha Yoga. The main influences on her style of Hatha yoga are the Ashtanga Vinyasa, Dynamic, Viniyoga, Shadow Yoga and Iyengar schools. She has studied with many of the worlds leading teachers, developing her practice by training with Shiva Rhea, Tias Little, Aadil Palkhivala, Rod Stryker and Donna Farhi.
Drawing from the resources of different traditions, Margherita has a gentle yet powerful approach to yoga. She does not teach a particular style, preferring instead to teach an intention that can be applied to any style. She believes that the main aim of a yoga teacher should be to support the needs of the individual rather than to promote a specific practice or technique. She enjoys being creative and experimental with her classes, working with a variety of themes, different sequences and a range of postures to help students deepen their practice and understanding.
Margherita teaches yoga classes at a number of venues including Londons top health clubs, yoga centres and privately.
Margherita is British Wheel of Yoga Accredited and Yoga Alliance Certified.
