Donna Amrita Davidge has over 20 years of experience studying and teaching Yoga, first Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan and since 1999 also with Dharma Mittra and Eddie Stern ( Ashtanga). She teaches winters in NY City and workshops in Yoga Centers from upstate New York to new Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.Her articles on YOGA have been published in EverythingYoga´s newsletters as well as other publications, Since 1997 she has owned and operated Sewall House Yoga Retreat with her Swedish husband, musician (and chef!) Kent Bonham. The retreat is in an historic home where Donna´s great grandfather taught Theodore Roosevelt, among others, the healing attributes of nature. The retreat is open from mid June to Columbus day in northern Maine,near lakes, hikes, Baxter State Park and Mt Katahdin. Donna has taught at both the summer and winter solstices for 3HO, also at Puravida in Costa Rica and Nu-age Health Spa and is certified by 3HO and (500 hr) Yoga Alliance, Kent and Donna have produced 2 Kundalini Yoga DVDs together, with Kent´s music and her teaching. Donna perceives yoga as a path for healing and alive living for the mind, body and soul.
