OM is the sacred symbol that represents the infinite, the sum and substance of all the words and is the sound of creation. The symbol of Om has three curves, one semicircle and a dot representing the three states of consciousness and the dot signifies the Absolute. When chanting Aum one can easily hear their own heart, even modify it’s pace, a group chanting can synchronize their heartbeats.
