Krista Thorson lives and works in Northwest Montana after recently relocating from Southern California, to be closer to family. Her passions include cooking, travel, yoga and painting-- not necessarily in that order! As a certified yoga instructor and a practitioner of yoga for several years, her father expressed interest in the healing benefits of yoga. Initially, these poses were illustrated on index cards for him as a reference. Shortly thereafter, Krista began a journey through Central and South America. She continued to illustrate asanas for her Dad, but as she was mused by her new surroundings, these transformed into poses on postcards from places around the world. Through this, her inspiration for her yoga greeting cards began.

All of the card designs are linked by heart and color. The fluidity of each pose is abstractly represented through the flowing lines that each corresponding pose demands.
